Of gadgets and innovations

I can’t call myself a real techie guy. But I’m very much into new gadgets and stuff being invented and introduced in the market. I really appreciate how much science is used to develop our planet into a vast technological and machine manipulated land! Everything is almost developed just to make life easier and more convenient for humans no matter what the cost! I may not be a scientist or an inventor but I definitely would keep track and share my views and opinions on what’s in and what’s new in this fast moving planet! So keep posted!

my great laptop

A year ago, I got myself a new high performance laptop. It’s already got an OS, TOSHIBA Security Assist, TOSHIBA Game Console, 5-in-1 Bridge Media Adapter, 6-USB (2.0) ports, wireless card, TV-out (S-Video), LAN ports, modem port, a microphone jack, headphone jack and a crystal clear LCD.

So far, I’ve been happy with it. It’s gotten beyond my expectations. It’s been a year and I’ve never gotten any problem with it. Hail to my laptop!

  • the mobile tracker

People through a cell phone communicate to their loved ones and it is indeed the cell phones culture that has made the world a smaller place. Now ringtones mean so much more. Through computers you can chat at anytime free of charge and with digital cameras you can send pictures right away.

Is mobile tracking really helpful? Actually I’ve heard a lot of stories regarding these mobile phone trackers. Through it you can track a lost mobile phone and you can exactly track where a person is just by texting a message to to track the location of the person who has the mobile phone. In a way, yes it’s good since it’s a real great breakthrough in the world of technology. It sounds so advanced and amazing but one disadvantage I can see about this is that you lose your privacy. Just imagine how people can track your location by just texting you!?! It’s amazing but in a way, it’s also scary!

  • I’ve read of news and stories that the popular operating system from Windows, Windows XP is going to be retired by the end of January! That may be the reason why whenever i’m looking for laptops over the mall, all they’ve got are laptops powered by Windows Vista. I am not really amazed with this whole Vista thing since i’ve heard a lot of negative feedback about it from friends and my sister as well. Many are even planning to downgrade from Vista to XP. Many says, Vista slows down your PC no matter how high it’s system requirement are. Some say, a lot of programs aren’t also compatible with the system. What i think is that, even before implementing Vista, Microsoft should first fix all bugs and turn vista to a more efficient OS even before thinking of retiring XP!

  • don’t ya notice?

Sometimes, we people might not notice it but almost everything we touch and we see is technology driven. Just like searching for your new home, before you often check out classified ads or you ask your friends who knows any property for sale in your area or you may consult a broker. But now, everything can be done with just a single click of a mouse. If for example, you type: philippine real estate, search engines automatically shows you a list of sites with relevant content which pertains to your search. Just imagine, first, the computer was invented, then the internet, then search engines and tons of websites! That must be really clever!

  • Our dear planet

It’s quite sad that in spite of advancements in technology. Little by little, our planet is getting suffocated caused by harmful gases and chemical excreted from transport vehicles and factories all over the planet. This slowly causes the temperature to rise and may cause climate change. I’ve proven this since I’ve noticed that Decembers aren’t that cold anymore, before it’s really freezing cold during Christmas season but nowadays, it’s just like summer! There are now even typhoons during summer and there’s a drought on rainy season. This must cause an alarm for all of us. People should be taught of environmental awareness. It’s just sad to see how people just throw their trash anywhere and companies don’t pay attention to the pollution caused by their waste. All they can think of is just the money they earn and the profits they make.
Even as a single citizen, there’s still something we can do. The simple sorting of your trash is a big help. Another thing is the planting of trees and proper garbage disposal. Transport is also contributes too much to air pollution. Perhaps they could invent fuel that is has less harmful effects. I just hope that through this article, I may be able to contribute at least a simple piece of information to save Mother Earth.

  • What’s new with Big G!

Not all the digital camera accessories in the market are noteworthy. Only a few digital cameras endorse them and that too for disposable or security cameras. Brands like the canon digital cameras come with their own cameras.
